Insurance Companies Day 2026 – Fireproofing the green transition – April 14

Insurance Companies Day 2026 – Fireproof the green transition.

On April 14, we will gather the insurance industry for a day filled with current topics and inspiring conversations about the risks and opportunities of the future. This year’s theme – fireproofing the green transition – a development that both opens doors and creates completely new challenges for loss prevention work and property protection.

Together with colleagues, experts and decision-makers, we explore how we strengthen resilience in a rapidly changing risk landscape. The day is held in collaboration with the Swedish Fire Protection Association, and is based on our shared ambition to deepen knowledge exchange and drive development forward for a more robust and fire-safe society.

Out of the program

  • Knowledge-based risk management
From accident to learning – how are accidents used as a source of knowledge? Sofia Martinsson, Accident Investigator, Swedish Accident Investigation Board
  • Fire safety in impregnated wooden facades
Konrad Wilkens F-Brown, Senior Researcher, Lund University of Technology
  • Damage from vegetation fires in buildings
Frida Vermina Plathner and Johan Sjöström, Senior researcher, RISE
